Who are these people?

Taylor Flairty and Joel Gehringer are two lucky people. They met in 2009 in Lincoln, NE. Joel proposed to Taylor in Cinque Terre, Italy, in Sept. 2012.

Which one of you is from Nebraska City?

Neither. We are both from Omaha. We are having the wedding in Nebraska City because we like the orchards in the fall. We are very excited for our destination wedding.

What's for dinner?

Tossed Caesar salad, fresh spinach salad along with hot bacon dressing, and dinner rolls. Slow roasted pork loin with au vin rouge and wild mushroom white bean ragout. Grilled boneless breast of chicken with a Belgian sauce of Dijon cream, artichoke hearts and mushrooms, and broccoli a la polonaise. Caramel apple cheese cake, and strawberry shortcake.

Where can I stay?

Lodging is available at the Lied Lodge and Conference Center, but rooms are going fast! In a pinch, apple trees are very shady, and provide plenty of cover from nighttime showers.

Where can I park?

Those coming for the wedding only can park outside the barns on the north side, off of Arbor Ave. Those who are staying at the Lied Lodge can also park at the Lodge. There is a walking trail to the barns through the orchard out back.

What is the dress code?

Somewhere between business formal and pajamas. We kindly request no tuxedo t-shirts.

What if there's bad weather?

Our wedding will take place in the lawn outside the barns. If there is bad weather, we will move the ceremony inside the east barn.

What is your wedding hashtag?
